Anti-Sunscreens

Sunscreen isn’t the sexiest of topics. However, neither is skin cancer so…yeah. I found 6 products that act like sunscreen but don’t look or feel like it!

sunscreen round up1. Primer: Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30
If you prime before foundation, why not sneak in SPF and skip a step? I also like wearing this solo for it’s silky smooth feel and pore-minimizing powers.

2. Color Cushion: AmorePacific Color Control Cushion Compact Broad Spectrum SPF 50+
Cushion foundations are everywhere and this one boasts an impressive amount of SPF!

3, 4. Setting Sprays: Coola Makeup Setting Spray SPF30Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist SPF 50
I love me some setting sprays. They really do work-preserving your makeup all day or night. I think an SPF-packed setting spray is genius and refreshing to apply too! Ahh!

5. Powder: Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 45
This is one of my favorites. I’ve been known to skip sunscreen for a number of stupid reasons. Either I already have makeup on or I don’t want to wash my hands, apply a sunscreen lotion, let it dry and then feel greasy as I sweat away. This powder literally takes 10 seconds to apply, deposits no color or residue and because it’s mineral-based, there’s no absorption wait time! Plus, the brush applicator leaves you with zero excuses.

6. Oil: Vita Liberata Passionflower & Argan Dry Oil Broad Spectrum SPF 50
I love using oils in my skincare because they feel luxurious and look glowing and healthy. For those that don’t enjoy the feeling of oil as much as me, Vita Liberata  has your back with this dry oil formula. I’m super impressed at it’s 8 hour water resistance time!

  • The Peter Thomas Roth has been a favorite of mine for years! Also the only one that I can get my husband to wear. Love that it’s instant and a mineral physical spf.

    • Those dang husbands! I always preach sunscreen to my husband when he’s out mowing the lawn. I’m going to attack him with the PTR powder now!
