April Favorites: SPF & Beyonce

I always look forward to writing these favorite posts, reflecting back on all the beauty products I’ve enjoyed using during my daily life the past month.

This past month, I’ve been doing a lot of prom makeup and wedding makeup. When I haven’t been doing those things, I’ve been trying to spend time with my hilarious husband (of 10 years next month!) and my 2 hilarious cats. I love them all so much.

I absolutely love multi-purpose products and the Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek stick is no exception. The texture is buttery and smooth, but not oily or sticky. It feels hydrating when used on the lips, but not too tacky to use on the cheeks, and even the eyelids as I’ve been doing. See how I use it in this tutorial video on my IGTV.

Colorescience Face Shield SPF 50

I’m really making an effort not to slack on my SPF game. This absorbs easily and wears well under makeup. It could potentially leave a cast on deeper skin tones, just an FYI, but for me, it’s all good.

Fleur & Bee Eyes Eyes Baby

Fleur & Bee is a brand new, clean skincare line and I’ve been checking out their stuff in the past month. So far, the product I like best is this eye cream. It’s the perfect texture because it absorbs so easily, unlike some I’ve tried that sit on the skin or pill.

Non-Beauty Faves

Drinking

Limitless Lightly Caffeinated Sparkling Water
It’s weird, but I haven’t really been enjoying coffee lately. Does that ever happen to anyone else? I still very much need caffeine though so I’m very into what Limitless is bringing to the table.

San Pellegrino Momenti Clementine & Peach
OMG these are so good and refreshing! They are just begging to be incorporated into a wine spritzer but they’re simply delicious on their own too.

Wearing

Kayley Melissa x Kitsch Shower Cap
I don’t remember the last time I owned a shower cap, but I’m not sure why because I needed one! I am so glad I ordered this, for a few reasons. It’s made for people with lots of hair, like me, it keeps all the water out and I love Kayley Melissa. I’ve learned so much from her darling hair tutorials and I really believe she deserves all her success.

Watching

Beyonce’s Homecoming, repeatedly and compulsively.
Nothing else matters. I’ve watched in 4.5 times thus far and show no signs of stopping. Jake joked that he was going to change the Netflix password because I needed to go into Yonce Rehab. Oh, and when I’m not watching it, I’m listening to the live album on Spotify.
