Best Facial Mists

Strict instructions: Sing the following to the tune of Diplo’s ‘Bubble Butt’:
“facial mists. facial, facial, facial mists!”

Ok, cool. I’m glad we did that. I like facial mists for a few reasons, #1 being that they are refreshing as hell. Another reason I love them is for sensitive skin. If you have skin that is easily irritated, or perhaps rosacea, I love facial sprays for hydrating and refreshing without laying a finger on your skin. The following are some of my faves for prepping skin before makeup, adding extra glow after and refreshing midday.

Extra tip: I like to apply a thick, hydrating night cream and then spray a facial mist on top to add extra moisture. I also like to apply one over a face mask.

LATHER Cucumber & Ginseng Facial Mist This was one of the first facial mists I tried and I knew I’d love it due to the cucumber. I’ve used this to soothe my skin after shaving, yes I said shaving. See this post for more details on that.

Pixi Beauty Hydrating Milky Mist I love hyaluronic acid for plumping up the skin and this facial mist is a lovely way to apply it. I will say, it feels quite wet after application so wait a bit before applying any additional skincare products or makeup.

Farmacy Skin Dew Check out this post for my in-depth thoughts on this. I love the Farmacy brand philosophy and ingredients. The only thing I don’t like about the Skin Dew is that it’s the priciest on this list. However, I think it’s one of the most enjoyable to use because of the echinacea scent and truly hydrating feel. This one is especially great for dry skin types.

Pixi Beauty Glow Mist This one contains Argan, safflower, avocado and various other oils so you’ll want to make sure to shake it up before spraying. It also contains propolis, a substance made by bees that helps to seal your makeup and Niacinamide. Oily types probably won’t like this as it does leave a visible glow and feel.

Everclen Facial Toner This is the dark horse of the group. I got this in a Vegan Cuts subscription box and this unsuspecting brand really impressed me. This does everything I want a facial spray to do, refreshing, soothing and hydrating with no stickiness. It feels clean and light and dries quickly. The brand caters to sensitive skin and this toner works wonders with soothers like aloe, bisabolol, beta glucan, sodium hyaluronate and allantoin. Read original post for more details.

Thanks for reading! Now go douse your pretty face with a facial mist!

I love face mists! My favourite is a natural rose water spray that I keep purchasing for so long and I love how it refreshes my skin! Face mists are the best invention in the beauty world haha!
