Dr. Dennis Gross LED Mask Review

Like many nearing 40, 38 at the time of writing this, I’d like to soften the visible signs of aging in my skin. Seeking super powers outside of injectables, I have become increasingly fascinated by red light benefits for skin. Enter the Dr. Dennis Gross SpectraLite FaceWare Pro.

I’ve been faithfully using the Dr. Dennis Gross LED mask for 5 months now, training my skin to produce more collagen all on her own and I’m quite proud of her.

How often do you have to use it?

Without a doubt, the more you use your Dr. Dennis Gross mask, the better your results. I firmly believe I’ve seen reduction in lines because I use mine several times per week, for 9 minutes at a time, 3 consecutive 3 minute sessions.

It’s easy to use and I enjoy the downtime so I don’t find it difficult to integrate into my skincare routine. I usually take a shower, then before applying any skincare, lay down, close my eyes, start a podcast and enjoy the Dr. Dennis Gross mask‘s bath of red light.

Proven Red Light Benefits

Unlike some trends in skincare (I’m looking at you ingestible collagen), the use of red light therapy is backed by actual data. Some of the studied benefits:

  • Stimulates collagen production
  • Speeds up wound healing
  • Helps with pain management
  • Can help fade discoloration from sun spots

Will I see results?

Yes. I really believe in the science behind red light therapy and the results I’ve seen. If you incorporate the Dr. Dennis Gross FaceWare Pro LED Mask into your routine, you’ll see results.

I’ve seen a marked reduction in the depth of my forehead lines and a bit more even skin tone. I have significant melasma and it seems slightly better maybe?

I have almost exclusively used the red light feature, though the blue light feature is nice for when you feel a breakout coming on or have active blemishes. I will occasionally use the combination setting, both red and blue, but since the majority of studied benefits were with red light, and my main goal is softening lines, I primarily do that.
