elf Skincare Review

I’m lazy about lots of things. I’m lazy when it comes to cleaning my house, exercising and cooking. One thing I’m not lazy about? Skincare. I have seen the benefits of putting in the effort and at my age, 32, my skin simply isn’t going to fend for itself. That being said, I think everyone deserves quality, cruelty-free, affordable skincare. I so admire e.l.f. for recognizing this and launching a truly impressive skincare line. I recently tried a few items and here’s what I thought.
elfskincare-moisturizer-roller

Daily Hydration Moisturizer, $8 I’ve been using this moisturizer during the day, prior to applying foundation. I like the almost gel-like consistency. I like that it hydrates without feeling sticky or heavy. It wears nicely under foundation and doesn’t cause any extra slip. I like the pump packaging a lot as it’s airless and hygienic. The only criticisms I have are the ingredients silicone and fragrance, which don’t always play well with everyone’s skin.

Facial Massager, $4  With derma rollers and micro needling all the rage, this is a gentler, less scary alternative. Rolling this across the skin increases circulation, product absorption and for me, TMJ relief. Oh sweet heavens. The only place it feels a little rough is the forehead but it’s especially soothing on the jawline and temples to relieve facial tension. It’s a welcome addition to any at-home facial.

I’m really excited to see e.l.f’s entire skincare line, which includes cleansers, an oxygenated mask, night cream, serum and eye cream. Thank you e.l.f., for bring affordable, quality skincare to all 🙂

I would love to try the Facial Massager, I massage my face 2-3 times a week with face oil so this would be perfect! 🙂
