Giveaway!
I want to thank you guys so very much for reading and supporting this little blog of mine! You make my hobby not seem pointless and inspire me to keep putting out helpful, fun content.
I love makeup artistry and products more than almost anything, and if I can share that enthusiasm with you, and get you all hyped up too, well that is just the coolest.
I recently made a dedicated Facebook page for my blog which has reached over 100 likes. I wanted to do a small giveaway to commemorate this and celebrate the love you give me. I love you too!
I put together a little assortment of some products I think are great and that I think you’ll like too. I purchased all of these products with my own money and they are all brand new and unused.
The first Wake Up for Makeup blog giveway gift includes:
- Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle–remember when I talked about these?
- e.l.f. Powder Brush which is my favorite brush for applying liquid foundations
- Sephora Nano liner set. These little liners are perfect for experimenting with new colors in a bite-sized way
- Sephora false eyelashes. Don’t let the shape fool you-they actually look very natural and are smaller than most strip lashes-ideal for smaller eyes. I used them for Kelly’s New Years Eve makeup.
- Make Up Forever High Definition Powder. Holy grail translucent setting powder. I use it to set my foundation everyday. It contains silicate so is superrrr silky on the skin and gives a blurred, airbrushed look to the skin.
- Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy fragrance sample
If you’d love to try these products, here are 2 ways you can enter the giveaway:
1.) Leave a comment on this post, telling me what makeup product or technique you struggle with most or
2.) Share this post to Facebook, telling me which product you are most excited to try from the giveaway
I will choose a winner at random on Friday, March 1, 2013 and notify you via email.
Thank you again for reading Wake Up for Makeup and sharing the love. <3

02/26/2013 at 8:32 AMLove your blog and this fun giveaway! I’m currently trying to transition to as many natural product lines as possible to remove chemicals from my daily routine and am intrigued by your suggestions on eye shadows? I’ve always loved the depth and staying power of MAC but the more I read, the more I realize they aren’t the best.

02/26/2013 at 8:50 AMHi Ivy! Love your blog. I struggle with “makeup rut”. I am not good at trying out new things, and I actually get very nervous to try out new colors, etc. So I am always feeling stuck in my everyday “makeup rut”. Ughhh!!

02/26/2013 at 11:27 AMOhhh Ivy, I feel like I do fabulous when it comes to just about evert part of my make up technique (i still got a lot to learn though), until i get to my eyeshadow!! I’m obsessed with eyelashes so I got those down pretty good with a the Sephora mascara you recommended and I don’t really wear eyeliner cause I feel it makes my eyes look smaller. It’s just the eyeshadow that gets me everytime! It’s either trying to choose appropriate colors to blend or how to blend them. After looking at your blogs and techniques, I definitely do a whole lot better, but I still struggle. I spend the most make up application on my eyes, by far. When I was in Vegas, I almost flawlessly blended my eyeshadow together and had my girlfriend take a picture and have been meaning to send it to you to show your inspiration! Thanks for all your tips and tricks! I’ll keep spreading your facebook and blog! You rock! xo, aundrea

02/26/2013 at 12:58 PMThe biggest thing I struggle with are my dark circles under my eyes. (thanks genetics) I have tried EVERYTHING and I still have not found the perfect concealer or the right technique. If you could shed some light on this subject, that would be great!! Love your blog:)

02/26/2013 at 2:42 PMHi Ivy! I always look forward to new posts on your blog. I’ll echo others’ post here and say that you’ve inspired me to try new things! I’d love to see a post on doing eyebrows. I’ve been experimenting over the years but just can’t get them to look like ooh-la-la eyebrows. Help?

02/26/2013 at 9:54 PMLove the blog Ivy! 🙂 The biggest thing I struggle with are reddish/pink tones in my skin. Since I am super pale, every little blemish or place where a blemish was will remain a little pink and I struggle when finding a good quality concealer to use that blends in well and minimizes red and pink tones. Keep up the great work! 🙂
