Halloween Makeup 2015

I haven’t been feeling myself lately. I’ve been feeling like 8…9 different people. Ha! That’s the most fun part of Halloween for a makeup artist like myself. I get to decide, “who do I want to be today?” This month, I’ve completed a total of 10 tutorials between my work for Root and SheKnows.com. I am so incredibly grateful to work with brands and sites that give me the creative freedom to coat my face with layers of technicolor makeup and glitter. I have been really happy with how all of my tutorials have turned out this year and I hope they give you some inspiration as well. Links to the tutorials below the photos!

Root

Mermaid | Bride of Frankenstein | Lisa Frank Leopard

These tutorials were done for Root. The most awesome thing about them is that my entire face is covered with 100% vegan, gluten-free, non-toxic makeup. I’ll be honest-not all Halloween/theatrical makeup is safe for your entire face. Read your labels as many pink and red pigments are not approved for use in the eye area. Every Root product is safe for use on your eyes, lips and cheeks! No worries! Keep this in mind for your kiddos.

sheknows-halloween

Dark Swan from Once Upon a Time | Jem | Harley Quinn | White Nun from American Horror Story Asylum | Elissa Bat from Monster High | Wonder Woman

I really love all 6 of these tutorials I did for SheKnows. I so appreciate them for just letting me pitch insanity and them being receptive to it. They gave me some great ideas this year too! Click on the names above for step-by-step pictorials and the videos below. I think my favorite ended up being the White Nun from American Horror Story because it was just so monochromatically creepy as balls.

Get some popcorn and a beverage and settle in for this big ol’ Halloween makeup playlist!

Girl, you are seriously talented! I wouldn’t even know where to start with something like this, but you make it look so good! 🙂

Oh thank you so much! There are some amazing makeup artists doing some pretty awesome things so I aspire to do crazier, creepier things every year!
