InStyler BLU Turbo Ionic Dryer
So, today is my birthday. I swear, I’ve forgotten about it no less than 10 times in the past week. Birthdays are weird when you’re turning 33. That’s a lucky number for my husband and I though, so here’s hoping it’s a good one. Since birthdays involve gifts, I’m giving away something! Wait, that’s not how this works. Shh, just go with it! You can win an in today’s post so if you’re into that, and let me just tell ya, you are, keep reading.
I admit it; I judged a book by it’s cover. I liked the right away because of it’s sleek, white, geometric design. It’s like it was made for me. It wasn’t but we’ll pretend. When I picked it up, I was amazed at how light it was. It really is the lightest blow dryer I’ve ever used. No doooubt. You’re the blow dryer that I’m talking about.
The further won me over with fancy attributes like turbine fans modeled after those used in jets that light up blue when in use.??? It has a DC motor that is more powerful than a 2000w dryer.
The allows you to choose from 2 heat settings, change airflow with an adjustable dial and and change the release of ions from low to turbo. I mean, of course I just went for turbo. I have a large amount of hair and it’s never been chemically treated so I used the highest heat setting and airflow speed.
THE LOWDOWN
So, does it dry hair faster? While I’m not sure that’s it’s way faster than my Rusk Speed Freak, there is something about this dryer that totally sets it apart. The ions people, THA IONS. When I dry my hair with this, not only does it looks super shiny and smooth, but it stays that way for several days. Today my hair felt so silky, it was almost slippery! The healthy sheen really looked as though I’d gotten a blowout. The negative ions really are key here, maximizing frizz reduction by “transforming droplets of water into fast drying micro-beads.”
So when you fall in love with like I did, you’re obviously going to want to take it everywhere you go. That’s why there is the . OMG so cute. This is all the turbine power of it’s mama bear but in a smaller, more travel-friendly . I don’t believe this has the ions. At first, I thought it was so frivolous to have a big and small blow dryer, however, when is the last time you used a hotel blow dryer and thought, “daaaamn! This thing is legit!” That’s what I thought.
