Skincare Sunday: Peels
It’s another Skincare Sunday so let’s chitty chat about one of my favorite ways to banish dead skin cells, decongest pores and brighten your skin. Peels! Here are my top 5 current favorites!
1. Philosophy Microdelivery Purifying Peel
Philosophy has basically condensed their Oxygen Peel into a 1-minute, efficient formula. This is especially helpful when you’re having a breakout-y time because of the salicylic acid. Salicylic-get up in dem porez!
2. Algenist Triple-Action Micropolish & Peel
Algenist is my boo thang. I’m sure you guys have learned that by now. This is my go-to peel because it’s quick, effective and is jam-packed with super acids–glycolic acid, patented alguronic acid and fruit enzymes. Leftover Sephora gratis item
3. Peter Thomas Roth FirmX Peeling Gel
The weirdest and funnest to use on this list! You will actually see and feel the dead skin cells rolling off your skin. This contains pineapple, pomegranate, cellulose and keratinase. If you’re skeptical like I was, and thinking it’s not actually your skin cells rolling off, no worries-I tested it. When applied to a granite countertop, no such effect occurred so it is indeed your cells.
4. Radical Skincare Age Defying Exfoliating Pads
You may remember these from a previous Skincare Sunday feature! I love how efficient and quick these are. Nothing to squeeze out of a tube, no time to wait around, no rinsing! You swipe one pad across your face at night and follow with a moisturizer. In the morning, BAM! Smoother, tighter, brighter skin. My pores look much better the next morning and forehead lines are reduced. Get it right, get it tight. Product was provided to me for possible review. I was not compensated for this post or any others promoting Radical Skincare.
5. Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel
So you wanna shine bright like diamond? I grab this particular peel when I’m seeing dull skin with dark, post-blemish spots. It brightens the situation up and has a subtle zing to it! Leftover Sephora gratis item

04/15/2014 at 4:25 PMPeter Thomas Roth sounds interesting and grossly fun! Haha. I had a facial from La Prairie a while back and my peel had the same effect! I’m a fan of Algenist too, makes my decision that much harder! It’s great that you posted this, I’ve been looking for a post on peels!
