Skincare Sunday
Happy Sunday little pretties! I hope you aren’t too sleepy after springing forward and losing an hour. But how freaking great is it going to be having an extra hour of marvelous daylight? I cannot wait.
I have a lot of great skincare finds lately, both products I’ve picked up and products sent to me to try, so I’m going to do a Skincare Sunday feature for the next 4 weeks. A good skincare routine is something you’ll never regret investing in, but the following product won’t cost you much at all! Most of us are ladies with some sort of budgetary concern and no worries. It won’t prevent you from having great products in the slightest!
Meet my new favorite cleaner. If you have a Trader Joes near you, you’ll want to grab their All-in-One Facial Cleanser from the Nourish line. It’s dermatologist formulated and rumor has it, the derm behind the fabulous formula is none other than skincare legend, Dr. Dennis Gross. Dr. Gross’ products sell at Sephora at a hefty price point, so this $5.99 cleanser is a steal. While you’re grabbing your awesomely-cheap wine and cult-favorite cookie butter, throw this in your cart.
So what do I love about this? It is gentle, first and foremost. I have dry, semi-sensitive skin and I’ve experienced no issues or tightness post-cleansing. Also, I love that it contains Retinyl Palmitate (vitamin A) which serves as the exfoliant. It is tearless-which is convenient because you can use near the eye area without worry. Furthermore, it’s packed with antioxidants. Even better? It’s not tested on animals and the packaging is recyclable. I use this with my Clarisonic and it’s just right. It foams slightly, but not much and it has virtually no scent to it whatsoever.
Find a Trader Joes near you, or order online. You can’t complain about this. It works, it’s 6 bucks, it’s legit.
