The Best Mascara: My current rotation
I may not be able to tell you the absolute best mascara, and that’s because I have never been in a committed relationship with one. I am always using 3-5 different ones, depending on the day, my desired outcome, etc.
However, these are the 4 mascaras currently in my rotation, and why.
, $29
First up, we have the most expensive, fancy pants mascara that I pull out when I want the biggest, baddest lashes. I try to save it for when I’m going all out, not just random errands.
Best for: length and volume
, $4.99
I’ll never understand why this highly-rated, impressive, cruelty-free mascara is $5, but just trust me; you can have gorgeous lashes for less than the price of a latte. Check out what it looks like HERE.
Best for: length, budgets
Glossier Lash Slick, $16
This mascara is your yoga mascara, your errand running mascara. It gives great separation, amazing wear time, but overall, a natural lash look. Just don’t expect super gigantic lashes from it. I wore it to a sweaty, summer music festival and was totally sold on the wear time after that. Read full review HERE.
Best for: long wear, separation
, $16
I reach for this mascara when I just don’t want to think. It creates very soft, pretty, fluffy lashes. It adds more volume than length I think. Grab this on your next Target run!
Best for: volume, soft, lush lashes
If you decide to try any of these, I hope you dig them as much as I do. Mascara is fun to try and honestly, as beauty lovers, I don’t know that we’ll ever find the ultimate one…but we sure can try!
