Hi, I’m Ivy and I’ve been working in the beauty industry since 2012. I work full time as a freelance makeup artist and I love it. I live with my husband Jake and our 4 cats just outside Des Moines, Iowa.

I love all animals and because of that, only feature cruelty free products on this blog.

SKIN TYPE

I have dry skin with melasma that I am constantly managing. I would describe my skin tone as light with a strong yellow to olive undertone.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art
• Graphic designer in ad agency world for about 5 years
• I worked at Sephora inside JCPenney as Operations Consultant, Senior Education Consultant and Certified Color Artist
  
• Finalist in the 2014 Allure Beauty Blogger Awards 
• Top 5 nominee in the 2015 Blo Beauty Blo-gger of the Year Awards.
