Behind the Bride: Kelly

As a makeup artist, being a part of someone’s wedding day is an immense honor. My #1  goal is always to make the bride feel prettier than she’s ever felt. I don’t think that’s too much to ask! While I’m driving to the wedding site, I even say a special makeup artist prayer. When the bride is one of your best friends, all of those intentions are magnified. I’d like to introduce you to Kelly. She’s the blogger behind A Sparkle Affair but also my festival family, fellow cat lady and one of my very closest friends for the last 4 years. I feel like it’s been longer for all we’ve done and seen!

Kelly isn’t afraid of makeup so I knew we’d be able to create a stunning look. Her favorite color is rose gold and it was incorporated into her wedding decor and her ring too! I made sure to also incorporate it into her makeup look that day! Being that Kelly got married in November, I knew airbrush makeup would be key. It ended up snowing nearly the entire day and it’s amazing how the Temptu S/B held up! Never needed a single touch up!
