Kim Kardashian Inspired Look

I have certainly never aspired to be a Kardashian. I do not keep up with them. I honestly don’t know if they’re serious 90% of the time. All that being said, it cannot be denied that Kim Kardashian is a beautiful woman with impeccable makeup. Her main man, Mario Dedivanovic, or @makeupbymario as he is known on Instagram, is a superstar talent. We love Kim’s contouring, her smoky eyes, her nude lips but really, we should be bowing down at the altar of Mario! I have a ton of respect for an artist who is able to build a signature look like that for someone. When Mario posted this photo on his Instagram, I knew it was a look I wanted to replicate. This is the makeup look Kim wore to the BET Honors Awards.

It is quintessential Kim, but a little more modern and romantic. I’ve never done a Kim Kardashian tutorial and though I wouldn’t consider myself a fan, I am a fan of pop culture. I felt really glamorous and I didn’t even have to break the internet!

Mario listed many of the products he used to create this look on his Instagram, which was fun as I had a few of them!

I’m particularly excited about the lip color for this look as I made it myself! Mario used Anastasia Liquid Lips in Pure Hollywood but it isn’t even out yet. I really like the color I was able to create with 2 lip tars!

I’m just taking selfies for my husband…and for my selfie book, like a normal person!
