Murad Acne Clearing Solution & Acne Spot Fast Fix Review

I usually have ok skin. I have some persistent blackheads and clogged pores and the occasional hormonal zit but  all stuff  I cover easily with makeup. HOWEVER! Lately, my skin has been what I’d call “nightmarish”. I am getting zits of the larger variety, groups of bumps that are hard to cover even with heavy-duty concealer. It was as though the acne gods intervened and Murad asked if I’d like to try some of their new anti-acne products. I was like, um, yes. Have ya seen ma face?!

This spot treatment really works and buh-leave me, I had the spots to test it on. If I have an inflamed blemish that is sore to the touch, I put this on at night, and by morning it was dramatically reduced and the pain was gone! Another thing I really enjoy about this spot treatment is the scent! It doesn’t smell chemical like many spot treatments do! It actually smells quite pleasant! Plus, it’s thin enough to wear under makeup easily and doesn’t form a dry paste.

I am so into this. When I went to a music festival in Chicago last month, I was sleeping on a couch for 3 nights in a row, dancing for hours, eating out, and while I was there, I found out my grandma had passed away. I thought for sure I’d be breaking out like crazy due to the stress and imbalanced sleep schedule. I had luckily packed this and I didn’t get one zit. Of course I did get a massive cold sore, but that’s a whole other story. I love how thin this is because you can still layer your regular night cream or facial oil over it and in the day time, under makeup! It’s my favorite preventative measure to keep pores clear and breakouts at bay.
