Korean Beauty with Peach and Lily

If you’re tuned into the beauty world, you’ve likely been hearing a lot, and I mean a lot about K-beauty, aka Korean beauty products. Peach and Lily is an online retailer of Korean beauty products and I was super happy when they reached out to me! I’ve become more curious about Korean skincare, after all, one of the best skincare products I have ever tried is from South Korea. Anyways, I asked Peach and Lily to only send products that don’t test on animals so they sent items based on that. The Peach and Lily site is really helpful because the products don’t have english instructions on them, because duh, they’re Korean. Wanna know what I thought about them? Keep reading!

mizon-jelly-shadow

Mizon Correct Jelly Eyeshadow in Pink Beige This was easily my favorite item that I tried. The texture is like that of a soft cushion, without having too much give that it squishes when you press on it. It’s best applied with fingers, so that’s easy and the universally-flattering rose gold makes it the perfect everyday eyeshadow I’ve been reaching for nonstop. I love to use a warm, matte tan brown in my crease and then press this all over the lid. Gorgeous, creaseless and long wearing too!

Ooh! Look at that squishy texture! I bet you’re touching your screen right now, aren’t you?

cremorlab-aromatica

Aromatica Rose Absolute First Serum This was the least impressive of everything I tried. I wasn’t surprised though as I dislike rose scent and don’t have a desire to whiten my skin. The texture was a bit sticky as well.

Cremorlab Enriched Moisture This moisturizer is deeply hydrating and left my skin feeling amazing in the a.m. I could definitely tell it had silicone in it as it had that silky slip to it. However, it is free of parabens, artificial colors and mineral oil.

bubble-porepack

Caolin Bubble Pore Pack I was most excited to try this product, as someone who has an entire village of blackheads on my nose. I would describe it as more of a deep pore cleanser vs. a blackhead remover. It doesn’t exactly pull them out as I had hoped. I will say, it’s super fun to use with it’s oxygenated bubbles that foam up after a few seconds. It’s gentle and doesn’t burn, sting or leave your skin dry. While it didn’t exactly remove all my blackheads, it did make my pores look tighter and less noticeable. I enjoy using it and the ingredients are beneficial so I’ll continue to use it when my pores are feeling extra gunky.

It reminds me a lot of L’Oreal’s 24Hr Eyeshadow in Amber Rush! But this one is cruelty-free so that’s a plus! I’ll have to post a pic with it on!
