LORAC Pro Contour Palette Review & Demo

When it comes to LORAC, I’m a verified fan girl. I love so many of their products. Their eyeshadows especially. They are unparalleled when it comes to pigment, texture and blendability. That is why when I saw that they were releasing a I said to myself, “ok, so maybe I’m not totally over contouring just yet. Maybe I do need another palette.”

This palette retails for $45 at Ulta and includes a full-size brush. It contains 6 powders: 2 matte highlights and one shimmer plus 3 matte contour shades. I break it down in detail as well as compare it to some other contouring products and show how it applies in this video, but here’s the Cliff Notes version!IMG_0758
Left to right: Deep Contour, Medium Contour, Light Contour, Shimmer Highlight, Yellow Highlight, Beige Highlight
Pigment 10/10. You barely touch it and you have great payoff, very similar to LORAC eyeshadows.

Texture 10/10 Buttery smooth, feels like a cream at first. Once applied, they blend out beautifully.

Value 10/10 I think this is the most impressive quality. For $45, you get 6 powders, in generous pan sizes, with a full size brush that is actually really great.
The only thing I don’t love about this palette is the shimmery highlight as it’s a bit too pearly pink/white. I will continue to use TheBalm’s Mary Lou-Manizer for my highlighter du jour, but for matte highlights and contouring, it’s everything you want!

I’m getting to the end of my current contour palette, I have the Too Faced Cocoa Contour Chiseled to Perfection palette. In your professional opinion, do I replace with the same or go with LORAC? The price is the almost the same, it’s $5 more for LORAC. Thoughts?

LORAC makeup kit is very good indeed. I like its lipstick and eye shadow the most. They are of good quality and have wide range of beauty products. They have unique colors and shades of eye shadow and lipstick. Thanks for sharing.
