Weleda Skin Food Review

Like many things, I bought because of makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes.
Also, the named just sounds cool. When I noticed it at Target (where I live part-time), I threw it into my red cart with glee. I may have even screamed a little.

I’ve been using  for a several weeks now and I wanted to share that the glee was warranted. Read on to find out why.

is a cruelty-free product, free of parabens, synthetic fragrances and mineral oil. I would describe it as an all-purpose, multi-use cream.

Key Ingredients

  • Lanolin
  • Calendula
  • Sweet almond oil

Uses

  • Softens rough elbows
  • Hand cream
  • Foot cream
  • Face cream
  • Hydrating face mask
  • Eye cream
  • Non-shimmery highlight
  • Brow tamer
  • Cuticle cream
  • Calm frizzy hair and split ends
  • Mixing medium: mix with powders for cream blushes, add hydration to liquid foundation, etc.

Scent
Very natural, herbal with a hint of citrus. I like it a lot and look forward to using it because of it.

Packaging
I love a metal tube for the hygienic factor. It dispenses just the amount you want, and the texture is quite thick so it never comes out too quickly.

Value
$19 for 2.5 oz. or $7.60 per ounce is great in my opinion. If you consider the small amount that you use, and how many uses there are, it’s an excellent buy.

Results
I didn’t experience any pore congestion when using this on my face. My elbows went from elephant skin to baby skin and my heels have started to heal. Real jazzed with my results.

Do I recommend it?
100% I do. If there was any doubt until now, just know that you need it.
