Black Cherry Fall Lips

A major makeup trend for fall is deep, dark, dramatic lips. Plum, wine, burgundy and blackberry shades are giving lips crazy emphasis this season.

I created a black cherry mouth for Divine Caroline and I’m excited to jam on the dark side this fall.
Little Tip: If you’re not sure about the depth of this look, try a deep purple/plum lipgloss over your normal red lip. This will still deepen the shade, add dimension to your lip and give a nod to the trend.

• Attending and covering backstage hair and makeup at Kansas City Fashion Week next month! I’ve never gone to KCFW, or any fashion week for that matter, so I’m very excited I get to go! I absolutely adore watching others do makeup and hair, picking up tips and tricks that I can then share with you, so I cannot wait!
• A Halloween makeup look I’ll be doing! I won’t tell you what it is, but it capitalizes on a trend in fashion and music right now.
• Wake Up for Makeup’s 1 YEAR BIRTHDAY!! I think I am more excited for this than anything else. I’m going to do a birthday giveaway and I can’t wait to put it together for you guys!
