Fall Face: Burgundy Eyes, Berry Lips

I love the month of October for several reasons.

1. Fall fashion is in full force in stores
2. October is the best weather for running, hands down. I actually ran today for the first time in…months :-/
3. Wake Up For Makeup began in October of last year. I have been gathering things for a giveaway I’ll be doing to celebrate it’s 1st birthday!
4. Halloween, you guys! Talk about makeup creativity! I am working on several fun looks and I can’t wait to share them with you. I did one today that I think is pretty cool.

I also like October because it’s officially time for Fall looks. Fall makeup has a certain cozy feel. It’s a little more dramatic, incorporates a deeper color palette and softer textures.
A flushed cheek with berry lips and burgundy shadow on the eyes is totally Fall-appropriate.
