Mary Kay Fall Look
I’m a Project Runway fangirl from way back. Since the very beginning. Though I am not at all what I’d call fashionable, I love watching the creative process and mostly, when the models go into hair and makeup. I love Heidi, Tim and Zac Posen too. I was a little surprised to see Mary Kay as a sponsor last season, simply because L’oreal is a beauty super presence and they had a good run with PR. When Mary Kay’s PR reached out, I was receptive mainly due to the Project Runway affiliation and being that it’s a brand that nearly everyone has access to. Who doesn’t know a Mary Kay lady? Get that pink caddy girls.
There’s something pretty cool about using the same shades as the beauties stomping the Project Runway…runway.
I put this look together with some of the products from Mary Kay’s City Modern collection. I used:
- Mary Kay Eye Color Palette in City Sophisticate
- Mary Kay Velvet Lip Creme in Berry Stylish
I especially love this lip color. I’m a sucker for anything berry purple. The lip colors smell really nice and feel great on. They don’t last long but I think that’s due to them being more of a balm consistency.
Also wearing
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Ceylan
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Light Warm
Root Setting Silk
TheBalm Balm Desert
Root Organic Brow Powder in Deep Brown
L’Oreal Silkissime Liner in Highlighter
Maybelline Master Kajal
