Easy Silver Naked 2 Palette Look

nakedlook1

Here is a simple look with big impact, using just 2 shadow shades, both from the Urban Decay Naked2 palette. This look lets the cat eye liner really take center stage by providing a cool-toned, metallic backdrop.
And FYI-Shiny Toy Guns are a band. I just thought of them while doing this look due to one of the colors I used being called Pistol. Here is my favorite song of theirs.

As a whole, the Naked 2 palette is a cooler-toned palette in comparison to the first Naked palette. I have the first Naked palette as well so I’ll be sure to do some looks with that too!

1.) You will be using the shades Pistol and Verve from the Naked 2 Palette.

2.) You will be lining with Maybelline’s Line Stiletto

3.) Start with a primed lid and start packing Pistol all over the lid with a dense, flat shadow brush. I’m using e.l.f.’s “c” brush.

4.) You will want to bring the color all the way up past your eyelid crease so that is shows when your eye is open.

5.) Now, take another smaller brush (I am using the brush that comes with the Naked 1 palette) and place Verve on the inner corner, extending it up under the brow bone in a curved shape

6.) Use your Line Stiletto, carefully draw a medium-thick line across your lashline, extending it beyond the eye and tilting it slightly upwards at the end.  I like to draw the top part of the line first and then fill in below, getting closer to my lashline as I fill in.

7.) Use the liner to connect and fill in the cateye shape, starting from your outer eye corner and drawing up to connect.

8.) Apply a volumizing mascara like L’Oreal Million Lashes to finish the look!

Your cat eyes are always so perfect! I wish I had that level of craftsmanship.

It’s probably because I AM a cat. Haha. I’ve had to practice…A LOT!

This is sooo easy. Thanks! What color blush and lipstick would compliment this best.

Thanks for reading! Fun to get a comment on an old post like this! Also wish I would have blended that top edge a lil better-haha! Since this is a cool-toned look, I’d choose cool tones for the blush and lip color as well. Mauve/rose toned blush and maybe a plum lip?
