September Favorites: Lipgloss + Caffeinated Water

I typically use this space for a life update, which I’m starting to think is boring, but I’ve had a cold brew coffee and 2 caffeinated sparkling waters today so here we are.

Ok, so what did I do in the month of September?

Hmm, ok. I did wedding makeup like usual, some political makeup, scored a healthy amount of Missoni goods from the , made lots of IGTV videos and did 2 paintings for our house.

My favorites this month are makeup-heavy, just the way we like it around here. So read on and enjoy.

So, I was none too pleased with Urban Decay for phasing out their Naked foundation and Naked concealer. I had to see what this new was all about, expecting to still prefer the previous fomrula.
Well, now I’m eating humble pie or whatever the saying is.

The is honestly so great lasts all day, even without power or setting spray and the shade 30CG is super perfect for me. The packaging is kinda odd but it still has 1 oz. of product so it’s ok.

Glossier Berry Balm Dot Com

I have almost every single Balm Dot Com (except rose, because gag) and honestly? Berry Balm Dot Com is my favorite one yet. It has the most color of any of them and I just love the juicy, jammy, berry scent.

It’s so damn pretty on it’s own, or over a lip liner, and would be a great sheer berry lip for lip color beginners.

I totally don’t use for the “lip plumping” effect but rather just love that it’s a great-feeling, opaque gloss.

Soft Rose is the perfect milky pink for a glossy nude lip and Rosewood, despite it’s name is more plum and great over a deeper lip liner as seen in this video.

I’d been hearing was a pretty legit drugstore concealer, and since Covergirl is now cruelty-free, I was excited to try it. I love the big ass doe foot wand, opaque formula and range of shades.

I find it doesn’t get dry or crack and crease much throughout the day and fully covers darkness and blemishes. This really delivers for just $12.

New sparkling water alert!

I love sparkling water and require caffeine so Pep Talk is kinda where it’s at for me. It has 55mg per can and I’m into the Tangerine Blackberry so far.
