What I’m Loving Lately

1. Nyx Cosmetics Intense Butter Gloss in ‘Berry Struedel’ I’d been searching for a true purple lip color and wasn’t wanting to spend a ton since I mean, it’s not a color you wear just everyday. This is spot-freaking-on. It’s mega-pigmented and feels great. Only thing I don’t love is that it tends to make my teeth look not as white but I love the color so much that I’m willing to extra Crest Whitestrip-it up to wear it!

2. TheBalm NudeDude Eyeshadow Palette This is a new palette from TheBalm and I’ve been grabbing it a ton! The colors Fit, Feisty and Flirty are some of my favorites. Fabulous doubles as a pale gold highlight too! I used this palette for this J Lo tutorial.

3. Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer I have pretty major dark circles so a full coverage concealer is a must. It also has to melt into the skin under my eyes though and not look cakey or crease. This fits the bill. It’s even more pigmented than I thought too. When I first applied it, I applied WAY too much. Another tip-it blends best with your fingers or a tapered kabuki brush but a damp beautyblender sheers it out too much and doesn’t leave as flawless of a finish.

4. Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30 / PA+++ I am now a proud sunscreen warrior, applying it daily like a grown ass woman. However, I won’t do a separate step for it. It either needs to be in my moisturizer, my primer or both! I love the silky silicone feel of this primer and knowing it has SPF 30 and anti-aging powers too! I also like the scent! I have been applying this on days I don’t wear makeup too, before an outdoor workout or to run errands. It makes me feel a hint more polished and protected from sun rayz too!
