Recent Faves

Hi friends! I have a few new beauty faves to share with you.

The thrill of a great new beauty find is the feeling that this blog was born of. I still get butterflies when I realize I’ve stumbled upon something good. I still get giddy to tell you about it. I hope I never lose that feeling. I haven’t for 6 years now, so no stopping me now!

I’ve been trying out several Charlotte Tilbury products lately and so far, this has been my favorite. I can’t decide if I like this better than  from my October faves?!

This gives me the type of lashes I’m always after. Rich black, lush, almost velveteen. The only downfall is that I had major smudging after taking a nap but I wore an eye mask so partially my fault.

The weather has shifted and my lips are just dry all the time now. Having dry lips is one of the most uncomfortable things for me. I love this rich, juicy orange scent balm. It hydrates really well but isn’t oily or too thick. I wish the dispensed as easily as this does and for that reason, I find myself reaching for it more.

This is such a nice, medium coverage foundation with a luminous, as the name says, healthy finish. It also feels very lightweight on.

I really like that it has SPF 20, it’s unique jumbo doe foot applicator, and pretty square glass bottle. This feels and looks far more expensive than $15. The only thing that is a bummer is that I have to mix 2 shades to get a perfect match. You can see it on in my highlighted Instagram story, Looks.

I’m not a big hair product user, but if you’ve read my blog for a bit, you know that I’m completely obsessed with Verb’s . When they came out with Ghost Prep, I was intrigued.

I apply it to my damp hair before blow drying and find that it leaves my hair smooth and helps hold my style too. I feel like it almost makes my hair more moldable in a way? It says it’s for fine hair but my hair is the complete opposite and I still really like it.

Non Beauty Favorites

Drinking: Buddha Teas CBD Tea
As you know, I’m heavy into that CBD life. I enjoy drinking wine when I want to unwind but would like to sub out something else for that sometimes.

This tea has really been doing the trick for me. I feel comfortably relaxed when I drink it and have been really looking forward to the ritual of making it too. I feel like half the joy of tea drinking is just the process. I have the Chamomile kind, which is delicious, and I have mint on the way!

Using:
I had debated buying one of for a while, so like most resourceful people, I asked my Instagram audience. Everyone said they love their so into my Target cart it went!

I am so glad I did. My teeth absolutely feel cleaner. I have never used an electric toothbrush before this and I’m a believer now.

I don’t have dental insurance so I’m willing to spend more on things that will help the longevity of my teeth. I was tempted to get the fancy metal one, but decided to save a little money and get the plastic one. No regrets.

I signed up for the refills every 3 months because I’m trying to streamline every single part of my life.

[…] Physician’s Formula The Healthy FoundationThe coverage and finish of this foundation are right on for me. It looks and feels like a high end product that should cost far more than $13. The only drawback for me is the shade range, typical in the drugstore category. When I’m tan, MW2 is perfect but when I’m not, LW2 is too pink. Even though they are both categorized as warm undertones, LW2 isn’t as yellow as MW2. I tried mixing but ultimately, I just need a lighter shade of MW2. Nevertheless, I still love it and I included this foundation in my favorites HERE […]
