I try a lot of beauty products. Some are meh, some lame, some are mega baller status.
Here are just a few of the beauty products I’ve tried lately that stood out to me and why.
I suppose we can call these my September favorites, but I since don’t do those monthly, we’ll just go with recent favorites.

If you follow me on Instagram, you can see these products on in my highlighted LOOKS story.

Remember when I told you how I was going to buy this? I’m good on my word because I totally did. The formula is super liquidy and blendable. I wouldn’t consider it full coverage, but medium, lending itself to a nice natural, no-makeup makeup look. It’s not prone to creasing unless you overuse it and the shade range is great for the major pale. I wear Fair for brightening my under eye area on my NC20 skin tone.

I don’t want to love a $29 mascara, but I love a . think the last time I felt this way about a mascara was Laura Geller GlamLash. The brush style actually reminds me of it! This is just an awesome from a cruelty-free company and a new fave for sure.
I guess I’ll just have to stop buying acai bowls to budget for .

Ever since NARS started testing on animals by selling in China, I’ve been on a foundation hunt. I like having a drugstore one for everyday wear and a nicer one for special occasions. I needed a new shade to accommodate my spray tan skin so picked this one up during a late night Target run. I love the finish and wear. I have MW2 but need to find LW2 as my tan is rapidly fading.

Conair Rose Gold Ceramic Iron
I got this 1″ curling iron on sale for $14.44 during another Target run and wasn’t expecting much. Well, color me impressed because it was easy to use and created curls that lasted for several days, which is pretty unheard of for me. I don’t know if it was the ceramic or the hairspray I used but I’ll definitely be grabbing this any time I want to make my hair look presentable, quickly and easily.

Non Beauty Favorites

Watching
Riverdale. I know I’m a little late to the game on this but I’ve been digging it. Somehow, they’ve seamlessly integrated the original retro charm of the Archie comics into modern life without it feeling weird.

Listening to
Natch Beaut. OMG SUBSCRIBE NOW. Not only does host Jackie Johnson talk about beauty products and her adorable dog Chooch, but she’s absolutely hilarious to me and I laugh outloud every single episode.

Drinking
Trader Joes Coconut Cream in my coffee for that non-dairy life.
