Amazon Beauty Stuff
I’ve been doing a lot of late night, impulse online shopping lately and much of it happens to be on Amazon. We had Amazon Prime for a while before I realized how revolutionary it was and starting taking advantage. As many of you know, now there’s no turning back.
Recently, I made the mistake of drinking some black tea late at night. It was Constant Comment if you’re wondering. I proceeded to stay up past 2AM, ordering a bunch of stuff on Amazon. Then, as luck would have it, Amazon decided to break my shipments up into multiple packages, that seemed to arrive for days on end, resulting in text messages like the following from husband:
Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
This said it makes your face “pulsate,” and as much as I hate that word, I have to admit, I’d like to feel my face do that. I also have tons of blackheads that nothing seems to truly help so I’m ready to step it up to pulsation levels. I also bought it because an esthetician told me that I should put this in my arm pits to detox them once a week to help natural deodorants work better. Stay tuned. I know you love hearing about my arm pits.San Francisco Salt Co. Foaming Bath Salt
I actually bought this for my mom as Christmas gift because she’s totally obsessed with bubblegum scent and flavor. She said it truly foams up like bubble bath would and smells absolutely wonderful! I think I might pick up the lavender kind for myself!
Castor Oil
Castor oil is said to strengthen and encourage hair growth, particularly for lashes and brows. You’ll often find it as an ingredient in many lash serums. I’ve been wanting to get into the habit of preventatively nourishing my lashes with it at night and promoting more hair growth on the outer part of my brows. I’ve noticed them getting sparse as I get older and I’m not about that life. I like this particular castor oil because it’s certified organic and comes with a reusable spoolie and brush, precisely for what I’m planning to use it for!
Christina Demi Wispies
Best lashes you can get on Amazon, hands down. I use these on almost every single one of my freelance clients. I buy them all the damn time and with Amazon Prime, I can make sure I get them in time for gigs when I suddenly run out. They never rip when you take them off the packaging and I’ve noticed Ardell doing that lately. Erg. Make sure you get the style marked #DW. The wispies style of these is mental long.
Conair Infiniti Pro
After seeing 3 professional hairstylists use this alongside their pricier tools, I had to have it. I’m going to forgive the fact that I dropped this, caught it and got second degree burns on my palm this summer. That was my fault. I do wish the cord were longer but otherwise, it creates really nice, twisty beach waves.
Denman Brush
Here’s another product that many pros have and now I have one too! I love this brush because it’s a classic, it’s affordable and easy to clean and it feels nice when I brush my hair with it.
Scalpmaster Shampoo Brush
I think I’ve told you before about how I have dandruff and I love it so much. Gag. I was thinking about how flaky my scalp was and how if it were my face, I’d just exfoliate. A friend suggested a shampoo brush so I immediately ordered one. I actually haven’t tried this yet but I’m off to go shower right now and scrub my scalp into oblivion.
Ok, so what are your favorite beauty items to purchase on Amazon? Do you also have a late night Prime problem like me?🙈

01/19/2018 at 12:09 PMAdd. To. Cart. It’s just that much easier to foster new obsessions when they’re Prime-able! 😉 Talk to me about the lashes (which I just ordered!) — do you recommend a specific glue (and do you call it glue?) 😀

01/20/2018 at 11:55 AMAmazon is dangerously easy. For glue, the easiest to use are the brush-on formulas and this one is great because it is latex and formaldehyde free and dries quicker than most! http://amzn.to/2DRN74C
