Dying to Try

As long as there are new products in the aisles of Sephora, I’ll be there, dying to try them. I love new products, the hype that surrounds them, the curiosity and the possibility! Here are the items I’m eyeing and hoping to experience for myself soon!

1. beautyblender micro.mini The original beautyblender is still kicking ass and taking names but I’ve often thought a smaller one would be so nice for blending under eye concealer on myself or clients.  These come 2 in a pack so I think I’d reserve one for blending concealer and the other for contouring.

2. Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow If you want to sell me an eye shadow, use phrases like “vivid pigmentation” and “super blendability”. Also throw in words like buttery, and gel-powder and I’m sold. Make Up For Ever is a true artistry brand and their previous shadows didn’t skimp on pigment one bit! You can use these on eyes or cheeks and you get a discount when you purchase multiples! I’ve got my eye on the colors: Auburn, Fig, Copper Red, Orchid, Frosted Peach and Golden Pink.

3. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar Unknown Pleasures in Vain Navy blue lip color? Are you on drugs, Ivy Boyd? Yes and no. I can’t help but be so intrigued by this! I can definitely say it’s a color I’ve never worn or seen on anyone else and I’ll try any makeup once. Plus, I think the blue hues would actually make teeth look white!

4. Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream I mean, you pretty much had me at the word ‘Buttercream’ Soap & Glory. Say no more. But you did, and it was pistachio, almond, coconut oil, vanilla and shea! I don’t think you can go wrong there- I bet it smells heavenly! Fall is basically here and winter is next so this little dragon needs her body butters!
