4 Mascaras I’m Absolutely Loving Right Now

Mascara is the unifying beauty product, the equalizer.

Whether someone wears a full face on the daily or the bare minimum, it seems that most of us wear mascara. For many, it’s the non-negotiable, the won’t-leave-the-house-without product.

However, it’s also very polarizing. There are mascaras I truly hated that others swear by as their holy grail.

So, take this for what it’s worth, but these are the mascaras that I love right now. These are the mascaras that make me say DAMN when I apply them and get compliments on.

from cruelty free luxury beauty brand Hourglass delivers both length and volume for sky-high lashes that I’m always impressed with. made my 2018 favorites post for good reason.

Anything I don’t like about it?

It can get clumpy if you apply too many coats as it’s a drier formula. So, just don’t do that 😉

The name makes me think of whipping cream so we’re already off to a great start here gives my lashes beautiful, soft looking volume. I reviewed it in this dedicated Charlotte Tilbury post.

will definitely smudge so it isn’t suited to someone with oily lids. A great workaround is to apply to your top lashes and a more smudge proof mascara on the lower lashes.

I was so surprised to see that had less than glowing reviews on Sephora.com because I really enjoy it! I love it’s whipped formula and hourglass brush and the lush lashes it gives me. I first wrote about in this favorites post over the summer.

I can’t really think of anything off hand!

Here is your budget buy to grab on your next Target/CVS/Walgreens run. It gives great separation, defining every lash with no clumps ever. I talked more about in this post.

Anything I don’t like about it?

The only thing I can think of is that it’s not super dramatic, but that’s what makes it an excellent, everyday, budget-friendly mascara.

You tell me…

What mascara are you currently into? I’m curious what is on your lashes..and whether it should be on mine too. Weigh in below in the comments if there are any I need to try.

I have lived by Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara for years. When my last tube ran out, I started going through my “collection” of unused tubes (from subscription boxes, free samples, et al.). It’s been super fun trying out new products – thanks for adding to my future collection. 😀
